Job summary

CEI PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead OQA testing and inspection activities for handler machines and related collaterals.

You will develop robust test and inspection procedures and drive continuous quality improvements across the organization. The role requires 3–5 years of QA experience in semiconductor/manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills (8D, FMEA) and the ability to train OQA technicians while maintaining compliance with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in Quality Assurance within semiconductor or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 8D, CAPA, FMEA, Control Plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System; Internal Auditor a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform OQA testing and inspection of handler machines and related collaterals.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, inspection procedures, work instructions, and control plans to ensure quality.
• Conduct failure analysis on non-conforming products using 8D and prepare CAPA.
• Participate in user group meetings and internal/external quality meetings to address issues and drive improvement.
• Provide on-the-job training to OQA Technicians on testing and inspection methods.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis for RMAs and site escalations, and prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable QMS.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) testing and inspection of handler machines and related collaterals, including actuation pans, kits etc.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, inspection procedures, work instructions, and control plans to ensure consistent product quality
• Conduct failure analysis on non-conforming products using the 8D problem-solving methodology and prepare Corrective and Preventive Action
• Participate in user group meetings, as well as internal and external quality meetings, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
• Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to OQA Technicians on testing and inspection methods, ensuring compliance with established procedures
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis for RMA cases and site escalations, and prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within semiconductor or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D Problem Solving, Control Plans, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements; Internal Auditor certification or experience is preferred
• Ability to develop and maintain Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
