JOB DESCRIPTIONPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the QA/Doc Control team to support the Business Units on QA related tasks, review and/or release of approved documentation associate work-order Databook & quality certificates.
- Provide QA advice & guidance on engineering approved documentation, special-process specs and documents for repair, remanufacturing or manufacturing works.
- Ensure consistent quality assurance standards and procedures are followed throughout the repair, remanufacturing and manufacturing process.
- Work collectively to achieve quality department KPI and Global QA Goals & Objectives.
- Handling, follow-up and reviewing all outsourcing supplier/vendor's service reports and filing in the Document Management System.
- Perform assigned IQA, suppliers' audit and BPA process/system audit.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV's Company and HSE policies & procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage & coordinate the preparation of facility QMS-related procedures, Work instructions, Risk Assessment, MOC, etc.
- Ensure complete QA review of work documents such as vendor reports prior to setting the final Databook compilation.
- Record & follow up on all reworks and nonconformities (causing issue to product quality and product delivery) for investigation/RCA, CAR/PI action, performance measurement & incident learning i.e. maintain records for analysis, trending & improvement.
- Provide weekly QA status reports for performance tracking & reporting, where necessary
- Provide report & required documents for management review presentation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with an equivalent combination of education & min 3 years working experience in the engineering field.
- Experience and exposure to International and/or industrial standards i.e. API, ASME, AWS etc.
- Qualified ISO auditor and/or experience of API-Q1/ISO 9001 QMS.
- Proven record of leading a team to success.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good application knowledge of company ERP system, RigOffice and relevant NOV's business portal.
- Basic knowledge of NDT methods, welding (WPS/PQR), coating, machining i.e. qualifying processes to conform with product engineering requirements & international standards.
- Good written and verbal presentation skills.
