Job summary

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

About our client: Our client is a manufacturer of offshore drilling and production equipment that is well-suited for use in deepwater applications.

About the role:

• Develop and implement quality inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to ensure product accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Design and improve inspection and testing processes, procedures, and equipment to enhance product quality.
• Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to monitor quality performance and identify potential risks.
• Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure corrective actions and deviations are properly addressed and meet required reliability standards.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure compliance with company and industry requirements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.

About you:

• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas manufacturing industry.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
