Job summary

A leading healthcare firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager (Quality Assurance) to oversee QA processes, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities in various laboratories. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks. This role involves investigating QC trends, training staff, and coordinating audits, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a core laboratory setting.
  • Experience with regulatory and accreditation processes preferred.
  • ASCP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Review monthly QC trends and prepare EQAS reports.
  • Investigate QC/EQAS outliers and support corrective actions.
  • Update SOPs/WIs and train staff on QA standards.
  • Assist with new instrument evaluation.
  • Administer staff proficiency tests and monitor KPIs.
  • Support regulatory matters (e.g., HCSA, Singapore Customs).
  • Coordinate accreditation activities and internal/external audits (ISO 15189).
