Fugro is seeking a QA & Commissioning Engineer to enhance product quality and reliability in marine solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to rigorous safety standards. Fugro is looking for a QA & Commissioning Engineer to support our ROV production and support facility in Singapore. He/She will report directly to the Senior Test Engineer and work closely with the production team to understand why we’re building a product and what the specific requirements are.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure our final products meet our safety and quality standards through FAT procedures and therefore ensure successful roll-out in the operating regions.
Must-Have Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical/engineering field.
Hands-on experience in mechanical/electronics equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with ROV systems or offshore engineering environments. Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical/engineering field.
Prior experience as a Test Engineer, Commissioning
Technical & Operational Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience configuring navigation systems and offshore sensors (advantageous).
Ability to conduct functional and integration testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Willingness to travel overseas/offshore for commissioning and support.

KPIs for Success:
To succeed in this role, the QA & Commissioning Engineer must demonstrate a blend of technical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic foresight. Key performance expectations include:
Ensure all equipment meets internal and industry standards before delivery.
Execute FATs, integration testing, and issue test certificates.
Maintain NCR database, follow up on open issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Provide technical support and commissioning services at client sites when required.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to align on product requirements and improvements.
