Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a driven developer to build Python backend services and APIs powering machine learning and Generative AI applications. You will work on integrating LLMs, RAG, prompts, embeddings, and vector databases while testing for accuracy and safety.

You will implement Responsible AI controls and deploy solutions in cloud environments, collaborating with DevOps, security, data and platform teams to ensure robust production readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field with min. 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, backend/API development, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents would be advantageous.
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, model evaluation, monitoring, logging, and production support.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Responsible AI, security, and data privacy.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python backend services and APIs supporting machine learning and Generative AI applications.
• Build and integrate LLM, RAG, prompt workflows, AI agents, vector databases, and model pipelines.
• Test and evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, reliability, safety, bias, and performance.
• Implement Responsible AI controls, including guardrails, audit logging, access controls, and human oversight.
• Deploy and support AI solutions in cloud/GCC environments, working with DevOps, security, data, and platform teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot model performance, hallucination risks, integrations, and production issues.
