Job summary

The Lab Education Centre Pte. Ltd. is seeking a passionate Coding & AI Teacher to deliver engaging programming, AI and computational thinking lessons to students aged 10 and above. The role emphasizes practical, hands-on learning and making technical concepts accessible.

You will use Python-based projects, guide AI explorations, and adapt pacing to each learner. A collaborative teaching style, strong communication with parents, and dedication to student growth are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and able to teach programming concepts.
• Strong interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence and coding.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to children aged 10 and above.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, responsible and enthusiastic when working with children.
• Experience with teaching or tutoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coding, programming and AI lessons for students aged 10 and above.
• Teach primarily using Python, including programming fundamentals, problem-solving and project-based applications.
• Introduce students to AI concepts and guide AI projects.
• Adapt teaching methods to students' age, ability and pace.
• Provide guidance during hands-on coding activities and projects.
• Prepare lessons and ensure materials are ready.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents about learning progress when required.
• Participate in school activities and workshops when required.
