The trainee must possess the skills to efficiently oversee and enhance procurement operations within the clothing business, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and effectively negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Formulating and executing procurement strategies.
• Overseeing daily procurement operations, managing personnel, and assigning responsibilities.
• Overseeing vendor relationships, bargaining agreements, costs, and schedules.
• Sustaining supplier records, procurement documentation, and associated records.
• Collaborating with inventory management to assess and oversee inventory requirements.
• Verifying that all acquired goods conform to specified quality benchmarks and requirements.
• Compiling cost assessments and administering financial plans.
• Enhancing procurement systems and methodologies. Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the clothing industry, and analyzing data to inform procurement decisions.
