Responsibilities

  1. Manage purchasing functions, including sourcing, recommending, and negotiating with suppliers.

  2. Procure the correct quantity and quality of goods to maintain continuous operations while keeping inventory at the lowest safe level.

  3. Ensure timely delivery and monitor all outstanding orders.

  4. Conduct yearly reviews with key suppliers.

  5. Establish agreements for key commodities.

  6. Maintain good communication with all departments to ensure efficient operations.

  7. Compile purchasing cost-saving reports.

  8. Handle all purchasing-related administrative work.

Requirements

- Diploma in Engineering or O Level with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Possess outstanding interpersonal and strong negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently.

- Experience in vendor quality management and practices in purchasing and inventory management.
