A leading recruitment company in Singapore is looking for a Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing functions and supplier relations. The role entails managing orders from the Pacific Islands and sourcing products, requiring strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Candidates should have a degree or diploma and at least 3 years of managerial experience in a trading environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To manage the full spectrum of purchasing functions
• To consolidate all orders from our overseas locations in the Pacific Islands
• To liaise with our various overseas suppliers on shipment schedules.
• To do adhoc sourcing and purchasing
• Planning of shipments inbound & outbound
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree/Diploma Holder
• Strong negotiation skills and able to source for products.
• Have been in similar Managerial position for at least 3 years.
• Preferably worked in Trading company for at least 3 years & above
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills
