Overview

Our client is a world-renowned international civil main contractor specialising in foundation works, geotechnical and soil technology and has strong civil engineering presence in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, rental of heavy equipment and negotiation with suppliers
• Manage cost estimates, tender, contracts and price finalising
• Source required materials and suppliers through various channels and conduct price analysis
• Manage the delivery process and inspect the quality and quantity of procured materials in a timely manner
• Preparation of progress reports to stakeholders
• Project administration duties

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or relevant field
• Possesses 8 years of procurement experience with LTA projects
• Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
• Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team
