A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to oversee the purchasing cycle and manage inventory levels. The ideal candidate will lead a team, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure smooth warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with purchasing policies. Strong analytical skills are essential to identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Purchasing:
Managing the entire purchasing cycle, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to placing orders and tracking deliveries.
· Inventory Management:
Maintaining optimal inventory levels, involving stock cycle count, and implementing inventory control procedures. And meeting inventory target set by superior.
· Team Leadership:
Leading and supervising a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
· Supplier Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, and resolving any issues that may arise.
· Warehouse Operations:
Ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse, including storage, handling, and issuing of goods.
· Data Analysis:
Analyzing inventory data and purchasing trends to identify areas for improvement, cost saving and cost optimization.
· Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
· Others:
Able multitasking.
Perform any other duties as required by superiors.
