ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for daily inventory order operations and timely replenishment.

  • Source the best prices in the Singapore market to maintain competitive pricing and quality.

  • Complete daily purchase orders accurately and on time to avoid returns or customer complaints, maximizing profit without compromising quality.

  • Conduct final checks on high-volume quotations to ensure a high order rate, offering timely and competitive costs for the quotation center and providing urgent support for sales.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and Operations Department for delivery arrangements.

  • Analyze rejected item reports and provide feedback to the quotation team or sales to reduce rejection rates in future supplies.

  • Evaluate and remark supplier credit notes in ERP upon goods return notes.

  • Maintain familiarity with our stock to facilitate quoting and selling to customers.

  • Continuously expand basic knowledge of marine stores products and develop expertise in specific marine product areas.

  • Ensure full compliance with the non-bribery agreement of RMS and Anti-corruption policies.

  • Assist in optimizing purchasing channels by developing advantageous local resources.

WORKING REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or higher in a related field or equivalent experience and training.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.

  • Good communication skills, teamwork awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Disciplined, honest, and maintains integrity.
