A leading company in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage full procurement processes. Responsibilities include overseeing logistics, conducting supplier evaluations, and optimizing procurement systems. Candidates should hold a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
Manage full procurement processes, including issuing Purchase Orders and RFQs, coordinating with local/overseas suppliers, monitoring shipment & delivery status
Oversee logistics and production planning activities, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality compliance & timely delivery of materials
Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers & assess supplier performance
Negotiate pricing, lead times & payment terms to achieve optimal procurement outcomes
Monitor warehouse stock levels to support production requirements & manage Engineering Change (EC) processes
Prepare purchasing reports and data for management review, and lead initiatives to improve and streamline procurement systems/processes
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management orequivalent
2-3 years of procurement experience in Manufacturing industry will have added advantageous
Proficient in MS Office andERP/MRP System
Possess good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders/vendors
