Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Your primary objective will be to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services while optimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality. You will work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan Buying Strategy: Create and carry out plans for purchasing goods and services that support the company’s goals. Look for ways to save money and make the buying process better.

· Work with Suppliers: Build good relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate deals to get the best prices and terms. Check how well suppliers are doing and solve any problems that come up.

· Find and Choose Suppliers: Research and find the best suppliers. Review their proposals carefully to pick the right ones for the company’s needs. Make sure all buying steps follow company rules.

· Manage Budgets: Work with the finance team to plan and keep track of spending on purchases. Find ways to reduce costs without lowering quality.

· Handle Contracts: Prepare, review, and manage contracts and purchase orders. Make sure all documents are clear, legal, and follow the rules.

· Shipment: Partner with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to plan, expedite, and facilitate smooth and timely shipment movements.

· Keep Track of Inventory: Work with warehouse teams to keep enough stock on hand. Help reduce waste and storage costs by managing inventory smartly.

Qualifications:

· Relevant certification in business, supply chain, or related fields.

· Experience in buying or supply chain roles is welcome — all levels can apply!

· Proactive and willing to learn

· Must be able to write and communicate in English and Mandarin as this position require liaison with China Counterparts

· Willing to work in Jurong
