A leading company in environmental services is looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing of materials for cleaning and landscaping needs. The successful candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with sustainability goals while supervising store operations and personnel. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Supply Chain Management and relevant procurement experience, with a focus on sustainability practices.
Job Purpose:
To manage procurement processes and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of quality materials, tools, equipment, and consumables for cleaning, landscaping, and asset maintenance services. The role also oversees store operations and supervises store personnel to ensure efficient stock handling and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Source and evaluate vendors for cleaning and landscape materials, M&E parts, and consumables.
2) Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
3) Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with depot/store team for timely replenishment.
4) Ensure procurement complies with company SOP, sustainability goals, and audit requirements.
5) Maintain proper documentation, including purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
6) Collaborate with Ops and Finance teams for forecast planning and budget alignment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or inventory control, preferably in environmental services or FM sector.
- Familiarity with green procurement or sustainable sourcing practices is advantageous.
- Class 3 license is a plus for operational support during peak periods.
