Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory levels. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a NITEC in Business Administration. Proficiency in ERP systems is a plus. This permanent position offers a salary of up to $3,300 with bonuses.

Our esteemed client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Position: Purchasing Clerk
  • Location: Northeast
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
  • Salary Package: Up to $3,300 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely execution of procurement activities
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with production and inventory teams to forecast material needs
  • Ensure all materials meet quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of key materials
  • Keep accurate procurement records and generate expense reports
  • Conduct regular supplier performance assessments
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes

Job Requirements:

  • At least a NITEC in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Prior experience in using ERP systems would be advantageous.
