Job Responsibilities:
Process vessels' stores and provisions enquiries using Archangel software
Submit timely quotations to meet vessel schedule and urgent requests
Select reliable suppliers and regularly evaluate suppliers’ performance
Liaise with the other departments for delivery and collection arrangements
Ensure all documentations are completed upon job filing for smooth invoicing by Accounts
Submit a weekly report of enquiries and orders processed
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
At least 1-year purchasing experience, preferably in marine sector or shipping industry
Diploma or related studies in business or engineering, entry-level are welcome
Familiar with Microsoft Office, ERP system or procurement software
Good written and spoken English skills, with a forward-thinking and proactive attitude
Well organized and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to work near Tuas West Road, 5.25 days/week.
