Job Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase requests submitted by internal departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement procedures.

  • Source for the right supplier with the best price, quality and service.

  • Negotiate with suppliers for the best terms and conditions which benefits the best interest of the Company.

  • Maintain and regularly update the Approved Suppliers List for indirect materials, equipment, and service contracts.

  • Assist in the development of new parts and pool of alternative reliable suppliers.

  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to purchased materials, such as quality concerns, delivery delays, or discrepancies.

  • Provide rating and monitor suppliers on delivery and service performance. Coordinate actions for improvement where required.

  • Coordinate internally on the approval and qualification of new suppliers and update approved suppliers in the Approved Suppliers List.

  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with the Company’s quality, environmental and safety management system requirements.

  • Handling invoices, shipping documents (BL, AWB), customs paperwork, working with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics providers.

  • Conduct quality and environment audit as and when required.

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
