1. Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and pricing.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
2. Purchasing Activities
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor and track stock levels to ensure adequate inventory and ensure timely delivery.
- Verify receipt and quality of goods.
3. Cost Control and Budgeting
- Analyze procurement costs to find areas for savings.
- Develop cost-saving strategies and supplier alternatives.
4. Inventory and Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with various departments to maintain optimal stock levels tailored to their specific product needs and requests.
- Capable of sourcing and identifying alternative products when needed.
- Coordinate with logistics to track and manage shipments.
- Unpack incoming stock, organize it on shelves, and distribute it to outlets upon arrival.
- Receiving, inspecting deliveries and accepting stock.
5. Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Conduct and manage stock audits at outlets as needed.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of online purchasing processes and the ability to communicate effectively on platforms such as Taobao and Shopee
- The candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing and sourcing.
- Proficiency in using a computer is essential.
