1. Sourcing and Supplier Management

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.

2. Purchasing Activities

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Monitor and track stock levels to ensure adequate inventory and ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify receipt and quality of goods.

3. Cost Control and Budgeting

  • Analyze procurement costs to find areas for savings.
  • Develop cost-saving strategies and supplier alternatives.

4. Inventory and Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain optimal stock levels tailored to their specific product needs and requests.
  • Capable of sourcing and identifying alternative products when needed.
  • Coordinate with logistics to track and manage shipments.
  • Unpack incoming stock, organize it on shelves, and distribute it to outlets upon arrival.
  • Receiving, inspecting deliveries and accepting stock.

5. Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
  • Conduct and manage stock audits at outlets as needed.
