Job summary

A leading engineering and construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships and inventory for automotive parts. The role involves sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for automotive parts.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operations.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders for materials.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs and LTA regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to Sales and Operations teams.

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for automotive parts, accessories, and workshop materials
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support workshop operations and sales demand
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for vehicle parts, accessories, and other materials
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from local/overseas suppliers
  • Manage import/export documents such as invoices, packing lists, permits, COOs, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, LTA import regulations, and other relevant standards
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, shipping, and inventory records for audits
  • Provide administrative support to Sales team and coordinate with Operations & Warehouse team to ensure smooth business operations
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Min. Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Min. 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system
  • Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice preferred
