Job Responsibilities

• Procure pharmaceutical supplies for Raffles Hospital and Raffles Medical clinics.

• Ensure all requisitions and purchases are approved within the mandated guidelines.

• Responsible for consolidation of purchase requisitions from user departments and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders to vendors.

• Ensure prompt response to urgent requisition requests and queries from users.

• Monitor outstanding purchase orders regularly and follow up with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.

• Liaise with vendors to return and/or exchange any defective and/or expired goods.

• Verify documents (e.g. purchase order, invoices) ensuring compliance.

• Assist with monitoring vendors’ performance and ensure vendors resolve the issues timely.

• Assist in quarterly stock-take administrative work and generation of reports.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Management/Biomedical Science/Logistics/Supply Chain

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience

• Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage

• Proficient in SAP (or equivalent materials management system), MS Office Applications - specifically Excel and Word.

• Team player with good interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Meticulous with an eye for details and good analytical skills
