Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore seeks a skilled procurement professional to manage supplier relationships in the semiconductor industry. The role involves active sourcing, negotiating terms, and ensuring on-time delivery while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in a related field with relevant experience and technical knowledge. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is preferred. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work Monday to Friday during office hours.

  • Technical knowledge in machine components is preferred.
  • Able to work after office hours when required.

  • Actively source and procure machine components and materials.
  • Identify and review suppliers to maintain a qualified pool.
  • Negotiate best price, payment terms, and lead times.
  • Work with suppliers on delivery scheduling and quality issues.
  • Manage, maintain, and monitor project costings closely.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Actively source and procure machine components and materials from both local and overseas suppliers
  • Make on-going efforts to identify new suppliers and review current suppliers to maintain a pool of qualified suppliers.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships and negotiation skills to secure best price, payment terms, lead time and ensure on time delivery.
  • Work closely with suppliers on delivery scheduling, quality issues, component specifications and certification requirements.
  • Assist to arrange trainings with suppliers when required.
  • Manage, maintain and monitor project costings closely to achieve cost savings.
  • Manage end-to-end purchase order processes and maintain complete documentation of all orders and related records.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure cost-savings measure and on-time delivery for projects.
  • Enforce and ensure internal and external compliance to the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Perform procurement-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
