A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a Purchaser to enhance their high-performing team. This role involves managing purchase orders, sourcing materials, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a smooth supply chain process. Fresh graduates with a degree in Supply Chain or Logistics are encouraged to apply.
Our client is a leading player in manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Purchaser to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Responsibilities
Take charge of placing and tracking purchase orders to support fast-paced production and project timelines.
Actively source quotes, assess lead times, and contribute to cost comparison and savings initiatives.
Maintain accurate procurement data, pricing, and supplier info in the company’s ERP/MRP system.
Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to manage delivery schedules and resolve any shipping issues.
Work closely with Warehouse, Finance, and Quality teams to ensure material readiness, smooth invoicing, and supplier compliance.
Assist with documentation and compliance for international shipments, gaining exposure to import/export processes.
Track and report on market trends such as price fluctuations or extended lead times, helping to mitigate procurement risks.
Be part of a collaborative team that values your input in procurement, logistics, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Fresh graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin to communicate effectively with China-based suppliers.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
