Job Title:Purchase Manager Procurement & Stores, Aerospace !Qualification:- Bachelors degree in Electronics or better. Degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role in Electronics Production or R&D sector only.- Knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage- Experience in Stores Management will be another advantage.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Job Description:Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality materials and components.- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong supplier relationships.- Have in-depth experience in having procured niche hard to find electronic components and associated material.- Have significant knowledge in sources for supply within the country and abroad to provide seamless support to the urgent needs of the project teams and the production department.- Maintain a database of qualified suppliers and continuously monitor their performance.- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.- Constantly be on the lookout for more and more suppliers who will meet with the growing and urgent demands of the organization- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and R&D teams to forecast demand.- Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations and the aerospace standards for which this company is certified for.- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.- Work closely with the R&D and production teams to understand project requirements and timelines.- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.- Implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in procurement processes.Other Skills:- Strong knowledge of electronic components, materials and sources for purchase.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).- Experience with international procurement and logistics.- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.- Knowledge and in-depth experience of Aerospace and Military standardsExperience / Requirement8+ yearsReports to:Director - CommercialWhat we offer:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects.- Collaborative and innovative work environment.- Career growth and development opportunities.Compensation:As per Industry StandardsWork timings9am to 6.30pm from Monday FridayThe role might require extended work hours, subject to business requirements.PLEASE SHARE YOUR RESUME TO :- hidden_emailJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule: Day shiftWork Location: In person,
