Job summary

A regional procurement firm in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the purchasing cycle and oversee supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year of experience in procurement, strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, and proficiency in NAVISION ERP. This role involves ensuring on-time deliveries and maintaining compliance with procurement policies. The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of procurement working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Mature, organized, meticulous, task-oriented, and able to handle tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing cycle including quotation requests, PO creation, and follow-ups.
• Liaise with suppliers for on-time delivery management.
• Identify and manage suppliers, including price negotiations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, goods receipt status and supplier billing.
• Liaison and follow up with suppliers/forwarders for on-time delivery management and update of goods arrival schedule on NAV.
• Identify and manage suppliers, including negotiations of pricing, compliance with standards and supply chain performance.
• Inventory management
• Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Performing any ad hoc duties given by the superior.

Requirements

• Only open to Singaporeans or PR
• Minimum Professional Certification, NITEC or Diploma in Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or other relevant related studies
• Minimum 1 year of procurement working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Good communications skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with suppliers from Mandarin speaking countries.
• Proficient in MS office applications, ERP software like NAVISON.
• Mature, organized, meticulous, task-oriented and able to handle tasks independently.

• Working Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30pm (Mon – Fri)
• 8:30 am to 1:30pm (Alternate Saturday)
