Job summary

The CPF Board is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice on contract law, intellectual property, corporate governance, employment law, and CPF regulatory matters to support the Board’s mission to serve over 4 million members.

Prosecution of statutory offences is included; drafting amendments with the Attorney-General's Chambers; vetting contracts and MOUs.

Qualifications

• Qualified under the Legal Profession Act.
• Relevant experience in legal practice.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking in legal contexts.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and effective communication.
• Prosecution experience is preferred; training provided if not.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on contract law, IP, governance, employment, and CPF regulatory issues.
• Prosecute statutory offences, conduct mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
• Draft legislative amendments in coordination with the Attorney-General's Chambers.
• Vet commercial contracts and MOUs; support policy changes.
