Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage public relations during a construction project. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for residents, managing enquiries, and coordinating community engagement activities. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in public relations or community engagement is an advantage.

Job description
  • Contract Duration: 9 Months (Jan 2026 – Sept 2026)
  • Working Days: Monday – Friday
  • Industry: Main Contractor / Construction
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact between project team and residents/tenants
  • Manage public enquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional manner
  • Examine and take immediate action for any inconvenience to the public caused by the construction works
  • Coordinate timely updates, notices, and communication materials to stakeholders
  • Support planning and execution of community engagement activities
  • Monitor site conditions and highlight potential public relation issues
  • Maintain feedback records and follow-up status for reporting
  • Provide general administrative support for site operations
Requirements
  • GCE ‘O’ Level / Nitec / Diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and customer-service mindset
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced site environment
  • Experience in public relations, community engagement, or construction industry will be an advantage (not mandatory)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
