Public Relations Officer

Job Description Summary

A Public Relations Officer in a Town Council manages resident feedback, media relations, and community events, ensuring effective communication and positive public engagement with stakeholders.

Job Description

About the Role:

  1. Management and engagement of residents and public queries, feedback, and complaints
  2. Manage press queries and print/social media
  3. Coordinate community events and provide event management support to property teams
  4. Organize Town Council events (involving 1,000 to 2,000 participants) and private events involving 100 to 200 participants
  5. Liaison with various stakeholders including Residents’ Committees, Grassroots Organizations, Government Agencies, and Contractors to ensure the company's and clients' image are maintained and enhanced
  6. Attend all relevant site meetings
  7. Produce print and online media and collateral for public engagement
  8. Perform PR and customer service support to property teams and assist the Customer Service Officer if required
  9. Assist the PR Manager on special projects as required by the Town Council

About You:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Mass Communication or equivalent
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese, as this position requires liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  • Relevant internship experience is preferred
