Shopee Singapore is seeking a Public Relations Associate to join our fast-paced PR team. The role focuses on corporate communications, brand storytelling, and reputation management with opportunities to shape public perception in Singapore.

You will support cross-functional campaigns, draft materials, and coordinate timelines with stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in PR or comms, excellent writing, strong organisation, and a proactive mindset to own projects from concept to execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• 1+ year of PR or corporate communications experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong tone and messaging.
• Organised and detail-oriented with timeline management.
• Proactive, accountable, and ownership mindset.
• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Strong interpersonal and team orientation.
• Familiarity with Singapore media and public affairs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of earned-led PR initiatives to drive awareness and strengthen Shopee’s brand in Singapore.
• Draft press materials, messaging documents, internal briefs, and support daily comms needs.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to align on comms timelines, data points, and approvals.
• Assist in managing media queries and monitor public sentiment for reputation management.
• Support media monitoring, coverage tracking, and weekly/monthly PR reports.
• Coordinate across campaign rollouts, media engagement, and internal comms for timely execution.
• Uphold Shopee’s comms guidelines and brand standards across touchpoints.
