Blue Totem Communications is on the lookout for a Public Relations (PR) Account Manager / Consultant. As a part of our close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to work with renowned international brands and exciting start-ups, and make a meaningful impact on their success.

With an impressive portfolio encompassing technology, corporate, and consumer clients such as 7-Eleven, General Assembly, True Group, Yahoo, and SMART, MIT's Research Enterprise in Singapore, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional campaigns that captivate audiences.

As a Consultant at Blue Totem, you'll support and lead a wide range of local, regional, and international campaigns across various sectors, collaborating with clients who are industry experts and who deeply appreciate and respect their agency partners. This role will include working with both technology and consumer brands, and requires intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategise and implement captivating B2B and B2C campaigns that leave a lasting impression.
  2. Lead and manage accounts, ensuring that client satisfaction is achieved.
  3. Manage and build a happy and successful client servicing team.
  4. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with local and international media outlets and content creators.
  5. Serve as a role model and mentor to junior executives, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
  6. Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with colleagues and teams to ensure seamless execution of PR work and campaigns.
  7. Offer valuable counsel and guidance to clients, building strong relationships with key contacts.
  8. Coordinate and oversee regional projects in collaboration with agency teams across Asia and beyond.
  9. Produce compelling written materials, from press releases to bylines to media pitches, showcasing your exceptional writing and editing skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Three to six years of agency experience, preferably with a global network.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey messages to diverse audiences.
  • A positive and professional demeanour, coupled with genuine care and concern for others.
  • Established media relations skills and experience working with media and/or influencers.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Intellectually curious and driven to keep abreast of current events, technological trends and changing consumer behaviours.
