Job summary

Club Paragon Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic PR assistant to support the PR manager with campaigns and media relations. You will write, proofread and upload blogs for social media and ensure all channels remain engaging and current.

You will help plan and run PR and marketing events, stock branded materials, and conduct market research to spot publicity opportunities. The role includes monitoring industry news and liaising with press contacts to secure coverage.

• Writing, proofing and uploading creative blogs to be shared on all social media platforms
• Ensuring all social media platforms are managed and up to date with interesting and engaging content
• Helping organise and run all PR and marketing events
• Ensuring all branded materials are well-stocked
• Conducting market research and identifying publicity opportunities
• Monitoring industry news and competitor brands
• Assisting with the creation of press releases
• Creating, analysing and evaluating all PR coverage
• Liaising with press contacts to generate coverage
• Constantly generating ideas to pitch to senior staff

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience in a PR-related position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience managing deadlines
• Confident with Microsoft Office suite
• Night club establishment
• Working hours are 9pm to 5am, may include weekend and public holidays
