Government Technology Agency (GovTech) seeks an Executive in the Sanitation Section with the Central Regional Office to implement, engage, and enforce environmental public health programmes in central Singapore. You will ensure cleanliness, support a smoke-free environment, inspect, investigate feedback, and work with multiple agencies to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to communicate in a friendly and composed manner with the public.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Ensure good cleanliness and sanitation standards at various premises, public places, and outdoor events within the assigned sector.
• Enable a smoke-free environment at smoking prohibited areas in premises and public places.
• Conduct routine inspections and undertake necessary actions on public health concerns (e.g. cleanliness, littering and smoking in prohibited areas, etc).
• Attend, investigate and resolve feedback from members of public and stakeholders on public health matters.
• Work closely with internal teams, relevant NEA divisions/departments, and government agencies and stakeholders to investigate and resolve public health issues.
• Plan and manage all matters relating to public health.
• Educate the public on good environmental practices and facilitate compliance with regulations.
• Conduct enforcement against offences that contravene the Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA), Smoking (Prohibition in Certain Places) Act (SPCPA), and their subsidiary legislations.
• Write and submit reports on public health issues to management.
