Job summary

Singapore Art Museum seeks a Manager (Public Art) to lead the development and delivery of its public art initiatives. You will translate curatorial ideas into publicly situated works, ensuring strong planning, stakeholder coordination, and responsible execution.

The role requires excellent project management, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to work with artists, agencies, communities, and internal teams to advance SAM's experimental public programmes and meaningful public

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills demonstrated in public art or cultural projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders including artists, agencies and communities.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead public art development from concept to delivery with clear planning and budgets.
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and timely delivery of commissions.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and funding opportunities for SAM's public art initiatives.
  • Mentor junior staff and maintain thorough project documentation.
