Job summary

PUB Public Utilities Board - SGP seeks a Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical assets, contracts and projects. You will lead assistant engineers in inspections, maintenance and contractor supervision to ensure safe, robust, reliable operations.

The role involves fault analysis, tender documentation, cost estimates, and project management, with emphasis on CAPEX/OPEX planning and asset lifecycle improvements at Woodleigh Complex (MEICA Office). Non-shift.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned mechanical assets, contracts and projects.
• Lead assistant engineers in inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault response and contractor supervision to maintain safe, robust, reliable and efficient operations of mechanical assets.
• Investigate faults, conduct engineering assessments and recommend solutions.
• Prepare and put up tender documents, specifications, project cost estimates and technical evaluations, including project management.
• Develop and deliver projects for mechanical assets maintenance, replacement, enhancement and upgrading works, including maintaining complete asset and project records.
• Manage and monitor project safety, quality, progress, cost and deliverables.
• Prepare and monitor CAPEX and OPEX for assigned works.
• Conduct pressure and pumping studies for high-ground areas.
• Review and assess staff performance.
