Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency, Singapore, invites applications for a Mechanical Asset Engineer to manage mechanical assets, contracts and projects at Woodleigh Complex (MEICA Office) on-site, non-shift.

You will lead assistant engineers in inspections, preventive maintenance, fault response and contractor supervision, and you will develop tender documents, cost estimates and technical evaluations, including project management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in mechanical asset maintenance and project delivery is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned mechanical assets, contracts and projects.
• Lead assistants in inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault response and contractor supervision.
• Investigate faults, perform engineering assessments and recommend solutions.
• Prepare and issue tender documents, specifications, project cost estimates and technical evaluations, including project management.
• Develop and deliver maintenance, replacement, enhancement, and upgrading works with complete asset/project records.
• Monitor safety, quality, progress, cost and deliverables for projects.
• Prepare and monitor CAPEX and OPEX for assigned works.
• Conduct pressure and pumping studies for high-ground areas.
• Review and assess staff performance.
