Job summary

Resmed in Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician for a 1-year fixed-term contract to support prototype assembly, testing, and maintenance of engineering test equipment. You will work closely with engineers to ensure product quality and timely project delivery, performing fault diagnosis and documenting results.

The role requires hands-on testing, interpretation of drawings, and strong problem-solving skills. Daily onsite presence is expected at the Galaxis office in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher NITEC in Electronics, Mechanical Eng, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in engineering, technical support, product development, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical/electronic/mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, schematics, and lab test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, modification, and testing of prototype mechanical and electronic systems.
• Assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain prototype units and test equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Conduct testing, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Assist engineers in resolving issues and improving product reliability.
• Develop, execute, and document test procedures and results.
• Maintain records of test activities, findings, and updates.
• Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Support updates to technical docs and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support and knowledge sharing within the team.
