Job summary

Flintex Consulting is seeking a Project Proposal Engineer for measurement instruments in Singapore to support sales, prepare proposals, and ensure delivery scope and quality.

The role involves technical and commercial alignment, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with Sales, Service, Finance and Supply Chain. Requires engineering degree and 3+ years in instrumentation/automation, with SAP/Salesforce knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Control, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control Engineering.
• Experience in Water/Wastewater industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to prepare and manage project proposals.
• Knowledge of SAP/Salesforce Lightning is an advantage.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, energetic and customer-focused mindset.
• Highly detail-oriented with structured and organized approach.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to meet sales targets and service customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Analyze RFPs to understand scope and requirements; identify risks and mitigations.
• Prepare accurate costings, quotations and proposals using CEP and SAP.
• Summarize customer specs and participate in technical clarification meetings.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Finance and Supply Chain for input.
• Verify and acknowledge Purchase Orders and hand over to project execution.
