Job description

Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Proposal Engineer.

JOB SUMMARY

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for reviewing offshore & onshore tender technical specifications with Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager (offshore/onshore), as well as the preparation of system design proposals and tender documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide pre-sales/tender support where necessary.

• Study and prepare the system design proposal for the required system based on the technical specification.

• Contact new or existing equipment vendors for technical and price information when required.

• Work and liaise closely with the approved vendors to ensure system compliance.

• Prepare the tender documentation.

• Communicate with client to clarify any tender technical queries.

• Check the system compliance/deviation against bid requirement.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of Sales.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree holder preferably in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with minimum 2 years of working experience.

• Working experience in offshore/onshore system integration will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
