Job description

Proposal Development:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, including technical, financial, and commercial elements.
  • Understand customer requirements and align them with our OT cybersecurity offerings.
  • Create detailed, clear, and compelling technical content for proposals, including system designs, architecture, security assessments, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and technical experts to gather the necessary information for accurate and timely proposal submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and RFP/RFQ instructions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with product and service offerings.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to enhance proposal content and offerings.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed cost and resource estimates, timelines, and project scopes.
  • Ensure all proposals are consistent with company branding and messaging.
  • Maintain a repository of proposal documents, templates, and technical content for future use.
  • Track and report on proposal status, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with deadlines.

Client Engagement:

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to clarify technical aspects of the proposal.
  • Support sales teams in responding to customer inquiries or clarifications related to OT cybersecurity solutions.
  • Assist in proposal negotiation and contract discussions as required.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in OT cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of proposal processes, templates, and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline proposal development for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in proposal engineering, technical writing, or a related role within the OT or cybersecurity industry.
  • Experience working on large, complex proposals, particularly in the cybersecurity or industrial sectors.
  • Experience with OT cybersecurity tools and solutions (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems).
  • Knowledge of OT risk management and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management tools.
