Job summary

AZBIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated proposal engineer to prepare cost estimations and proposals for HVAC-related tender projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in the ACMV/BMS sectors. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering documentation, assisting in contract securing processes, and conducting detailed project estimations. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of working experience, preferably in ACMV / BMS in Building Sector.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail within calculations.
• Ability to work under short deadlines and prioritize jobs.

• Prepare proposal & cost estimation for tender projects.

• Assist the Proposal/Sales Manager on technical and costing matters.

Job description

Job Description :

• Prepare proposal & cost estimation for tender projects
• Estimate project quantities and costs in the preparation of major tenders in a timely and cost effective basis such as to take-off HVAC equipment, preparation of IO summary, DDC controller sizing, field device selection, preparation of BOQ, costing, valve selection.
• Assist the Proposal / Sales Manager on technical matters & costing matters during the process of securing the contracts.
• Plan, prepare, coordinate and to consolidate all estimating activities.
• Interpret engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, scope of works, etc.
• Follows all relevant Tendering / Proposals polices & procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Job Requirements :

• Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechancial or Electrical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of working experience, preferably in ACMV / BMS in Building Sector.
• Good communication, writing, negotiation, numerical, analytically and interpersonal skills
• Organized and Self-motivated individual with high level or integrity and able to work with short deadlines
• A multi-tasker who can prioritize jobs as per tender timelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good understanding of specifications and drawings
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail within calculations, checking and summarizing.
