Job summary

A leading property management company is seeking a skilled individual for defects management and tenant relations. You will investigate building defects, conduct site visits, and handle tenant issues to ensure quality service delivery. This role demands strong experience in property management, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in property or facilities management required.
  • Exposure to construction or defects management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate building defects and coordinate rectification works.
  • Conduct site visits and handle tenant issues.
  • Manage tenant relations and support administrative functions.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience in retail or commercial environments

Job description

Location: Marina Bay MRT/Downtown MRT
Salary: $3,900
Type: 1-Year Contract (Immediate Start)
Work Schedule: 5.5 days/week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defects Management:

    • Investigate building defects (especially water leakages/seepages).

    • Interpret and analyze shop/construction drawings and site photos.

    • Coordinate rectification works with developers, main contractors, and sub-contractors.

    • Ensure timely and independent follow-up on defect rectification, especially under warranty.

  • Operational Support:

    • Conduct property site visits and recommend repairs/upgrades.

    • Handle tenant issues and ensure prompt service delivery.

    • Support administrative functions – raise purchase orders, process invoices, assist with budgeting.

  • Tenant Relations:

    • Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs, events, newsletters, and billing (e.g., CAM dues).

    • Ensure smooth day-to-day tenant engagement and service compliance.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in property or facilities management.

    • Prior exposure to construction or defects management is highly preferred.

    • Familiarity with commercial or retail environments is an advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

    • Retail or Commercial experience will be a strong advantage.

    • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.

    • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.

    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Experienced in defects management.
