A Town Council in Singapore seeks a dedicated Maintenance Coordinator responsible for coordinating estate and horticultural works, managing contractors, and engaging with grassroots leaders. Candidates should have a minimum 'O' Level and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential for this role, which involves urgent case management and administrative duties.
Responsibilities include :
Work as a team to coordinate with contractors to carry out and maintain daily estate, horticultural works and cyclical projects at public housing flats.
Conduct inspections, liaise and supervise contractors, identify defects and rectify works.
Engage and manage feedback and to carry out call back service when the defects are rectified.
Discuss and follow up on maintenance issues with grassroots leaders.
Assist grassroots leaders to organize grassroot activities.
Attend house visits, grassroots and upgrading meetings after office hours, where necessary.
Attend to urgent cases referred by managers, grassroots leaders and EMSU.
Attend to feedbacks and services requested by residents as well as manage arrears cases.
Handle administrative duties such as calling for quotations, issuing work orders and applying for funding.
Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum "O" Level
Minimum 2 years in similar role
A team player with good interpersonal and organization skills
People-oriented with a willingness to learn
Able to work under pressure
