Property Executive
Job Description Summary
Lead property team in managing public housing estates, engage stakeholders, oversee improvement projects, handle resident feedback, and ensure compliance with regulations and Town Council governance.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of property officers and work closely with the Member of Parliament and grassroots leaders in managing the common areas of public housing estates.
- Manage the team in achieving key performance indicators related to property management and compliance with relevant government regulations.
- Collaborate with grassroots organizations and government agencies on projects to enhance the living environment.
- Plan and implement Town Council improvement programmes and exercise prudent budgetary control.
- Engage with residents, manage feedback, and conduct follow-up calls to resolve issues.
- Assist PR Team and grassroots leaders in organizing grassroots activities.
- Attend MP house visits, grassroots, and project meetings after office hours when required.
- Address urgent cases referred by grassroots leaders and EMSU.
- Conduct cross audits of estate inspections, arrears visits, and perform special duties as assigned.
- Serve as Secretary of assigned subcommittees and follow up on various projects and duties.
- Assist the General Manager in managing the Town Council and ensuring governance and achievements are met.
- Perform any related duties as required and directed.
- Ensure accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards to foster a safety culture.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Building, Building Maintenance/Management, Facilities Management, or related fields; Diploma holders in these areas are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Property Officer (PO) or Senior Property Officer (SPO) in township management.
- Demonstrate positive service attitude and a good track record in serving residents and grassroots organizations. Positive feedback from residents or grassroots leaders is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively and connect with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Good teamwork skills and willingness to assist new colleagues.
