What you will be doing
To Lead and supervise a team of technicians, facilities attendants, and lifeguards to be efficient and effective in maintaining the Club’s facilities, building and equipment through routine checks and strategising for preventive maintenance;
To ensure the Club property & assets are well maintained, in terms of general maintenance, facilities and safety in compliance with government statutory guidelines;
Supervise and inspect contractor work that is carried out as specified in their contracts and/or work orders effectively with minimum disruptions to the club's daily operations;
To be responsible for the regular review of the club's workplace safety and health (WSH) and security policies following the governing agencies' guidelines;
To lead and manage the security officers/team in the club's daily security routine;
Conduct daily inspections for security and safety breaches and give recommendations and training to improve safety and security awareness;
Oversee the day-to-day operations, including planning and scheduling of duty rosters and work schedules for technicians, setting up of events (including decorations), functions, games and sports following activity instructions and booking schedules;
Source and purchase to replenish the stock for first aid items and lifesaving equipment regularly for readily emergency use;
Source spares or recommend alternative spares that can result in cost savings to the Club in terms of general replacement of consumable items;
Take a position as the fire safety manager for the Club and conduct bi-annual fire drills, safety committee meetings and related fire safety issues in compliance with FSB requirements;
To investigate the feedback and complaints from tenants and members and implement corrective actions;
Assist in the preparation of tender documentation such as technical specifications and requirements for applicable maintenance, renovations and improvement works;
To attend project meetings and work with QS and consultants on the invoicing and work order submission;
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or Head of Property as and when required.
What we are looking for
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Building or Facilities Management or Estate Management or equivalent;
Certification in Swimming Pool, Horticulture Maintenance and Operation will be an added advantage;
Minimum 2 years related working experience;
Experience in Additional & Alteration works will be an added advantage;
Knowledge of repair, service & troubleshooting work of mechanical and electrical systems/equipment in the swimming pool mechanical plant room;
Ability to communicate clearly and team player.
