Job description

1. Property Operations & Facilities Management

  • Ensure the day-to-day smooth running and maintenance of all properties, tailored to their functions (temple, school, office, rental)

  • Supervise and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works

  • Implement property-specific SOPs for security, cleaning, landscaping, and general upkeep

  • Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on defects or hazards

2. Project & Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee building improvement and upgrading projects across sites

  • Plan for long-term maintenance and asset renewal needs, including A&A projects

  • Manage procurement and contract administration for consultants and contractors

  • Monitor project timelines, quality, and cost across diverse property types

3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all properties comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. URA, BCA, SCDF, NEA, MOE for schools)

  • Maintain up-to-date permits, insurance policies, safety certifications, and fire safety measures

  • Work closely with temple caretakers and school heads to implement health and safety protocols

4. Lease Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate new leases, lease renewals, tenancy matters, and property usage issues

  • Liaise with property committee, temple committee, school principals, commercial tenants, and other stakeholders to align expectations and respond to needs

  • Support events and religious functions where properties are used

5. Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Prepare and manage operating expenditure and capital expenditure budgets for all sites

  • Track expenditures and ensure cost-efficiency across contracts and utility use

  • Work with finance team on rental collection and financial reporting

6. Team Supervision

  • Lead and supervise maintenance officers and administrative support

  • Ensure proper scheduling, coverage, and quality control across multiple sites

  • Promote cross-site coordination and resource sharing
