Job description

The position at Third Bridge involves being part of the Editorial team and working as a Proofreader. Your primary responsibility will be to refine raw, verbatim transcripts of technical conversations into accurate, polished, and error-free content. This content, generated through consultations between investors and industry experts, is then shared on the Forum platform for clients after a specified embargo period. In addition to editing and proofreading transcripts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the internal Style Guide, you will also curate specialist profiles and conduct research on industry-specific terminologies and data points. As a successful candidate, you should possess exceptional attention to detail, strong editorial skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks effectively while meeting strict deadlines.Your role will involve making editorial decisions that enhance the quality of the content and following compliance requirements when distributing it to clients. You will also be expected to proactively resolve any issues with stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of content quality by identifying errors and misalignments with the Style Guide. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of technical content across various industries, receive thorough training on editing styles, and collaborate with industry experts to develop new products and guidelines that shape the company's Style Guide.To qualify for this position, you should have at least 3 years of professional experience in a proofreading or editorial role, hold a Bachelor's degree, and be familiar with financial content and industry-specific terminology.
