Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a mechanical engineering role, focusing on reading drawings and managing project claims. Applicants should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Class 2 motorbike license, and be available for 5.5 working days. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience mentoring or supervising is preferred.
• Candidate with construction background is an advantage.
• Must have experience with AutoCAD software.
• Capable of reading mechanical drawings.
• MUST HAVE CLASS 2 MOTORBIKE LICENSE.
• Must be available for 5.5 working days.

Job description

1. Capable of reading drawings and extracting the bill of quantities.
2. Store and retrieve business records, documents, and reports, as well as digitize them into the computer system inside the appropriate folders.
3. Handle the Payment Claim for the Project.
4. Monitor the project and the assigned tasks.
5. Project submission and progress coordination.
6. Track the development of fabrication and production

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other technical related field
2. Previous experience mentoring or supervising subcons or junior staff is preferred.
3. Candidate with construction background or experience is an advantage.
4. Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
5. Capable of reading mechanical drawings.
6. MUST HAVE CLASS 2 MOTORBIKE LICENSE
7. Must be open for 5.5 Working Days.
