Job description

Objective

The Project Sales Executive's objective is to present and promote Hafele's range of assigned products (furniture fittings) in projects within assigned territories. The role involves creating brand awareness among Designers, Consultants, Sub-contractors, and related parties, obtaining product approvals in projects, and ultimately securing sales.

Tasks

  1. Align with Designers, Consultants, Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Developers to promote Hafele brands and achieve set targets monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  2. Cultivate, develop, and manage assigned projects or projects in assigned territories. Properly hand over all relevant information and demands of non-assigned products, projects, or customers to other sales representatives or channels.
  3. Build strong relationships with all related parties. Understand project designs, flow charts, and technical/commercial needs. Influence and obtain approval for our products accordingly.
  4. Study the competition for each assigned project. Prepare customized, compliant quotes in consultation with supervisors or the company.
  5. Provide technical and commercial support as needed. Secure sales opportunities, negotiate, and close contracts.
  6. Liaise with departments such as Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service on project-related issues and track deliverables.
  7. Monitor, follow up, and report regularly on project progress and discipline to stakeholders.
  8. Represent Hafele in customer interactions related to sales. Maintain professionalism in Hafele uniform and uphold Hafele values. Support teamwork and other duties as assigned to protect and enhance Hafele's brand and reputation.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, with project sales experience being a plus. Experience in selling or business development of related products/fields is advantageous.

Specific Knowledge

Having a strong network with decision-makers such as project developers, designers, architects, and contractors in Singapore is beneficial.

Requirements

  • Proactive, outgoing, and sales-driven mindset.
  • Understanding of complex B2B sales processes.
  • Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of project business and its complexities is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of project management, construction, and the real estate market is a plus.
  • Strong command of English.
