Responsibilities:
Plan and implement competitive strategies to achieve substantial growth in the sales and market shares;
Identify new and emerging opportunities in the market and strategically tap them to promote a new product line;
Compile market intelligence such as competitors’ pricing, new product launches and competing activities as well as information on new players;
Establish and manage clientele base and maintain a good working relationships with customers (eg. developers, architects, contractors, etc);
Work with architects in setting specifications for both commercial and residential projects;
Plan and participate in trade fairs/exhibitions to promote maximum brand exposure;
Attend to all project tender documentation and translation if necessary;
Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts on the ‘Project’ and ‘Distributor’ sectors;
Attend to site inquiries and render technical assistance upon request by clients;
Requirements:
Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or its equivalence with at least 1-year relevant experience in the same capacity
Sales-driven and customer-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Resourceful and possess a high level of commitment and determined to excel
Good business acumen with sensitivity to business trends and market conditions
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Possess strong initiative and able to be a good team player
Those with relevant experience in consumer durables and building distribution networks have an added advantage
